Dear friends,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Samvedana Foundation USA, it is my distinct pleasure to invite you for an evening of dinner and musical extravaganza in support of our projects “Samvedana Eye Care for Diabetics” and “College of Nursing, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandhinagar, India”.

Five years ago, we held our first fundraising event to establish a model Burn Care Center at LG Hospital in Ahmedabad. With the generous support from individuals like you,that project became a reality and was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat,Shri Narendra Modi and Honorable Mayor of Ahmedabad Mrs. Aneesa Begum Mirza in January 2005. For the last three years, the Rajen Sarabhai Patel Burn Center has been doing yeomen service to the citizens of Ahmedabad.

In 2007, the Samvedana Foundation Board of Directors visited Ahmedabad and initiated the eye care project in collaboration with Nagri Eye Hospital Research Center and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Since then, the project has benefitted many hundred of cases and continuously provided much needed services to the underserved.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya--a well known academic institution in Mehsana district, is establishing a state of the art nursing college in Gandhinagar and we at Samvedana Foundation are joining hands to enhance the academic resources available to students.
